Jim Hageman
Managing Director – Jim Hageman

Jim Hageman is the Managing Director for Sett & Lucas Unicorns (SLU). Jim brings over 30 years of experience in Corporate Development, Capital Raise, M&A, IT Strategy and Private Equity relationships. Prior to joining SLU, Jim coached several hundred business owners with their organization goals, growth plans, and exit strategies, trained executive teams in Solution Selling, Integrity Selling, and Executive Time Management, and provided strategic technology solutions to several Fortune 500 clients.

In his free time, Jim enjoys Ministry, reading, dancing, and travelling.

Muthukumar Velumani
Country Head – Muthukumar Velumani (MK)

As country head of S&L India, MK drives the cross-border M&A across global offices of Sett & Lucas. With over two decades experience with global financial institutions, he is an expert in private placement, and M&A with focus towards technology and B2C/B2B2C business models.

Prior to S&L he was with Royal Bank of Scotland and ABN Amro managing technology for treasury. He holds a PGDBA in Finance and BE in Mechanical Engineering. He is passionate about advising startups and next generation disruptive business models.

Sridevi Srinivasan
AVP Investment Banking - Sridevi Srinivasan

Sridevi Srinivasan is an Assistant Vice President at Sett & Lucas, where she advises founder-led businesses on growth capital, strategic investments and M&A across India, the UK and the US. A Chartered Accountant with over 12 years of investment banking experience, she has partnered with more than 150 founders, helping transform businesses into investor-ready opportunities through strategic positioning, financial storytelling and transaction execution. Her work spans Technology, AI, SaaS, Healthcare, HealthTech, FinTech, Manufacturing, Consumer, Aerospace & Defence, supporting entrepreneurs from early growth through institutional fundraising and strategic exits. She works closely with founders to refine their equity story while maintaining an active network across venture capital funds, family offices and strategic investors, providing valuable market insights throughout the capital-raising journey.

Beyond work, she enjoys exploring emerging AI applications in finance, and championing initiatives that promote continuous learning and employee well-being.

Suraj Raghavendra is an investment banker with over a decade of experience advising founder-led companies on private capital raises across India, the US and the UK. As an Assistant Vice President at Sett & Lucas, he brings end-to-end transaction experience across investment positioning, financial analysis and valuation, investor identification and engagement, due diligence, negotiation and closing. His experience enables him to help founders translate their growth plans into compelling investment theses, identify capital partners aligned with their ambitions and execute focused fundraising processes across venture capital, growth equity, private equity and strategic investments.

Suraj works closely with entrepreneurs and management teams to bring clarity to their equity stories, discipline to transaction execution, and alignment to founder-investor relationships.
